Combining results

Simple combinations

1. Go to Explorer pane > Data > Tasks and cases > Combination cases.

2. Type in the comination name and description.

The description for simple combination is of the form '$a_1A_1 + a_2A_2$ + ...' where $a_1$ is the factor applied onto analysis case 1 and $a_2$ is the factor applied onto analysis case 2.

Envelope combinations

1. Go to Explorer Pane > Data > Tasks and cases > Combination cases.

2. Type in the combination name and description.

The description for the evelope of multiple cases is form '$A_1$ or $A_2$ or $A_3$ or ...' where 'or' is used to specify the program to calculate the worst of the different analysis cases.

To quickly define an evelope of multiple cases, you can also use the the 'to' keyword. For example '$A_1$ to $A_4$' is the evelope of $A_1$, $A_2$, $A_3$, and $A_4$.
