Combining results

Simple combinations

  1. Go to Explorer pane > Data > Tasks and cases > Combination cases.

  2. Type in the comination name and description.

The description for simple combination is of the form 'a1A1+a2A2a_1A_1 + a_2A_2 + ...' where a1a_1 is the factor applied onto analysis case 1 and a2a_2 is the factor applied onto analysis case 2.

Envelope combinations

  1. Go to Explorer Pane > Data > Tasks and cases > Combination cases.

  2. Type in the combination name and description.

The description for the evelope of multiple cases is form 'A1A_1 or A2A_2 or A3A_3 or ...' where 'or' is used to specify the program to calculate the worst of the different analysis cases.

To quickly define an evelope of multiple cases, you can also use the the 'to' keyword. For example 'A1A_1 to A4A_4' is the evelope of A1A_1, A2A_2, A3A_3, and A4A_4.
