Dynamic Response
These modules are required for dynamic response analysis. The basic requirement for response spectrum analysis is a response spectrum which can be either user defined or coded specific. In addition to the parameters which define the spectrum other related seismic parameters are defined here. For harmonic and time-history analysis a damping table can be used to define damping as a function of frequency or mode. Time-history analysis requires a spatial load distribution and a load curve defining the variation with time. Dynamic load factors are specified for periodic analysis. Footfall analysis requires a frequency weighting curve.
