Description

Members in GSA are geometrical objects used for Design that can automatically find intersections with other members and from members we can create the elements used for analysis. Members are as such more closely related to building objects, like a beam, column, slab or wall.

A Member3D is the volumetric geometry resembling for instance soil. They can be defined geometrically by a closed Solid.

Icon	Name	Description
	ID	GSA Member Number (default = 0). The value will automatically be set when assembling a Model, but you can override this by setting it to anything but zero.
	Solid	Member geometrical definition represented by a Grasshopper Solid.
	3D Property	3D Propertys (also known as PV in GSA).
	Analysis Element Type	Element Type; Tetra4, Pyramid5, Wedge6 or Brick8 depending on the Ngon mesh definition.
	Mesh Size	Target mesh size defined by a Unit Number Length.
	Mesh with Others	Set if Member intersects with other members.
	Group	Member Group number.
	Name	Member Name.
	Colour	Member Colour.
	Dummy	Member Dummy status.
