# Changing the Orientation of the Image
The following methods may be used to rotate the image.
Dragging – Set the cursor mode to Rotate and drag the mouse. The sensitivity of the mouse movement may be adjusted in the Graphics Preferences.
Shft+Drag with the mouse wheel (or middle button) held down (in any cursor mode) operates as dragging in the Rotate cursor mode.
Arrow Keys – Each keystroke rotates the image about the object point by the amount currently set in the Graphics Preferences. These commands may also be found in the “Graphics | Orientation | Rotate” menu, for the sake of completeness.
Explicitly – The orientation may be specified in terms of longitude and latitude in the Orientation Settings dialog box.
In all cases the rotations occur about the object point.
