# LS-DYNA Analysis
The GSA analysis options are focused on linear and mildly non-linear problems. In some cases it is necessary to use a more advanced analysis. This can be provided by LS-DYNA. This analysis option allows the GSA model to be used to create an LS-DYNA analysis
# Modelling implications
The key idea is that the GSA model should form the reference model and that the extra data required for an LS-DYNA model should be included as part of the GSA data. Normally the different attributes required for a DYNA analysis are assigned by use of an analysis stage.
The key area where LS-DYNA requires more detail is in the material models. To achieve this a number of LS-DYNA specific material models are included. These are defined in the material wizard, by checking the DYNA material option
Once the task is created an LS-DYNA keyword file is written and opened in the selected LS-DYNA environment.
# Results
The LS-DYNA results are not copied back to GSA for post-processing.
