Analysis

Different element types and analysis types are available in GSA. The types of analysis may be limited or modified by the elements selected.

Analysis Task

Analysis in GSA is organised in tasks. So a linear static analysis or a modal dynamic analysis would each be a single task.

Analysis Case

Each analysis task consists of one or more analysis cases. For static analysis the analysis cases are closely associated with load cases, while for a modal dynamic analysis the analysis cases are associated with modes and frequencies.
