Advanced Solver Settings : LS-DYNA

This allows various key parameters to be included in the LS-DYNA export. Refer to the LS-DYNA manuals for a detailed description of these parameters.

Command line

This specifies the command line to run on exiting the analysis wizard

Memory / Number of processors

Determine the memory and number of processors for parallel execution available to LS-DYNA when running

Element formulation

This allows the user to specify the element formulations to be used for quad and triangle elements and for beams.

Integration factor k

LS-DYNA assumes the sections are a collection of point areas which are integrated to get the element forces. The parameter k determines how a section will be discretised.

Include file

This allows a pre-prepared data file to be include in the LS-DYNA keyword file.
