Pile-Soil Interaction Coefficients

This defines pile-soil interaction coefficients/curves, that are used by Pile-soil interaction properties.

Definition

Name

The name of the pile-soil interaction coefficients/curves.(PSIC)

Curve

For each PSIC, the coefficient C(d)C(d) is a function of dd, dd is normalised relative displacement, i.e. d=δ/B or δ/Dd = δ/B \text{ or } δ/D. δδ, BB & DD are explained in Pile-soil interaction property table. If dd is outside the defined range on positive or negative side of PSIC curve, the last CC value on positive or negative side of the curve will be used as the corresponding CC value, i.e. the curve is extended horizontally on both positive and negative sides.
