Stage Definition

The basic definition of a stage is a set of element which are associate with the stage. This can be 'all'.

Definition​

Stage Name

The name is used to identify the stage.

Element List

The list of elements that are included in this stage. The list syntax is described in the “Sets and Lists” section of “Working with the Program”.

Creep Coefficient

This option allows creep to be considered for concrete materials by specifying a creep coefficient. The properties are modified as follows:

E→E(1+φ)G→G(1+φ)E\rightarrow \frac{E}{(1+\varphi)}\qquad G \rightarrow \frac{G}{(1+\varphi)}

Lock Releases on Elements

It may be useful to ignore releases that have been assigned to beam elements. Analysis stages allow releases to be excluded when this is required.
