Adjusting data display

There are a number of options for adjusting the display of data in tables. These are available from the Window > Settings menu and from the Data options toolbar.

Font

The font that is used in the table can be selected. This gives a standard font selection dialog.

Units

This is available in tables where units are used. Some of the data may be entered in one unit, with the units changed and subsequent data entered in a different set of units. All data in GSA is stored in SI units and converted to the requested units upon display.

Axes

This option is only available for the nodes table and allows the coordinates to be entered or viewed in a different sets of coordinates. This allows, for example, some of the nodes to be defined in a Cartesian coordinate system and other in a cylindrical system.

Size columns to fit, size rows to fit

The widths or heights of table columns and rows on the screen can be reduced to fit the displayed text.
