Changing the orientation of the image

The following methods may be used to rotate the image.

Dragging​

Set the cursor mode to Rotate and drag the mouse. Adjust the sensitivity of the mouse movement in the Graphics preferences.

Shift + Drag with middle mouse button​

Use the mouse wheel (or middle button) held down in any cursor mode. Operates as dragging in the Rotate cursor mode.

Arrow Keys​

Each keystroke rotates the image about the object point by the amount currently set in the Graphics preferences. These commands may also be found in the Graphics > Orientation > Rotate menu, for the sake of completeness.

Explicitly​

Specify orientation in terms of longitude and latitude in the Orientation settings dialog box.

In all cases the rotations occur about the object point.
